Abbasi Hotel is truly the best hotel in Iran, offering an experience that goes far beyond just accommodation. From the moment you step inside, you are transported to a world of elegance, history, and breathtaking beauty. The architecture and atmosphere of the hotel are absolutely mesmerizing, with intricate Persian designs, lush gardens, and a serene ambiance that makes you feel like you’re in a living piece of history. One of the most remarkable things about Abbasi Hotel is that you don’t even need to explore Isfahan—just staying in this hotel is an experience in itself. Whether you’re sitting in the stunning courtyard, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, or admiring the breathtaking details of the building, you will feel completely immersed in the magic of Persian culture. The food is simply outstanding. Every dish is prepared with high-quality ingredients and traditional flavors that make every meal a delight. From the diverse and delicious breakfast buffet to the beautifully presented main courses, everything is flawless, flavorful, and satisfying. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean, providing a luxurious and comfortable stay. The breakfast selection is extensive and varied, offering a wide range of options to satisfy every taste. The staff is incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and taken care of. Their warm hospitality adds to the already wonderful experience of staying at the hotel. And one of the best parts? The tea and Ash (a traditional Persian soup) served in the courtyard late at night. Sitting under the night sky, surrounded by the beauty of the hotel, while sipping on warm tea or enjoying a bowl of Ash is truly an unforgettable experience. Overall, everything about Abbasi Hotel is simply perfect—the atmosphere, the food, the cleanliness, the service, and the luxurious rooms. If you are visiting Isfahan, this hotel is not just a place to stay, but a destination in itself.

Pros: beautiful garden and communal area Cons: rude staff, old rooms and in general overpriced. Staying here isn’t recommended at all, just spending a couple of hours in the garden would be enough!

The hotel way more expensive as it should be and the reception is not helpful at all especially the girls, they were extremely useless and I had very disappointing experience there and at 1:30am suddenly I heard someone jacked hammering the roof of our room and after few times calling with the reception my family and I had to move to another room to the next floor which is looked very old and in poor condition and no apologising whatsoever from them or the recipient. I’m definitely not use the Abbasi hotel again and I won’t recommended to anyone.

In general it's a nice hotel but absolutely overrated. Unless you stay in the most expensive room, the other types of rooms are just old and ordinary hotel rooms with worn out appliances. Not to mention the loud music playing in the garden till 23 o'clock at night and keeping us awake. As for the breakfast, they said breakfast is served from 06:30 in the morning, we showed up at 07:30 and yet the staff were not fully operational. The omelette counter for which I was excited to try and taste, was not working and the staff were gathered in the back kitchen, having breakfast and speaking irritatingly loud. The head servant in the breakfast salon had a terribly hostile attitude towards his team of personnel to the point that I was shocked to see how bad he yells at them in front of guests. Check out took more than 30 minutes while there was no other guest checking out and the hotel was almost empty. All in all, nice hotel but certainly not a 5 star one and extremely overpriced for the value which they offer.

The Abbasi Hotel, with its impressive 320-year history, is relatively unknown as the world's oldest hotel. Despite not being listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, it has been nationally registered since 1960. Many stakeholders believe that the Abbasi Hotel in Isfahan, given its rich historical significance, deserves global recognition. Originally known as the Shah Abbas Caravanserai, this inn is a relic from the Safavid era, a period during which Isfahan reached a peak of prosperity and grandeur, earning it the nickname "Half of the World." The hotel was commissioned by Shah Sultan Hussein, the last ruler of the Safavid dynasty, to serve as a resting place for travelers and merchants. It features stunning Persian architecture, characterized by beautiful mosaics, intricate tilework, and lush gardens that have been meticulously maintained over the centuries. The central courtyard of the Abbasi Hotel is an oasis of tranquility, complete with a large reflecting pool and pathways lined with blossoming trees and fragrant flowers. The hotel’s traditional Persian tea house is a popular spot for guests to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. Despite its age, the Abbasi Hotel offers modern amenities while preserving its historical charm. It hosts various cultural events and provides guided tours that offer insight into its storied past. In summary, the Abbasi Hotel is not just a place to stay; it is a living museum that offers a unique glimpse into Iran's rich cultural heritage and architectural splendor. Its potential recognition as a World Heritage Site could help bring its historical significance to the forefront, attracting more visitors from around the globe. However, it’s worth noting that the cost of a night’s stay can be quite expensive.
