  it was my first visit to Iran in 2015, very tough place to find a decent accomodation to stay at normal price. Decent accomodation far too expensive, the other are just suffering for comfort. When I found the web site of Kianpour's Historical Residence first, I was happy to find this place to stay, well They squeeze every corner to make a room, they offer me a budget room for 50USD but you cant call it as a room, ceiling is around 1,5m high and at downstairs , there is kitchen and laundry. So very loud. At Kianpour's Historical Residence you are not a guest, you are simple visitor for them, you visit their so called ^^special house^^. you should not touch anywhere ,there are lots of warning signs. But even the owner does not know what he wrotes or not capable of writing and reading English. anyway at the first day we took a shower and place the towel on the floor to be replaced, as you may see attached picture , there is a sign at the every room saying that ' if you place the tower on the floor , that means please change it ' it is explicitly owners rule. so we did as it is ruled. and That night when we return the hotel very very rude and angry owner get mad and question us why we put the towel on the floor, Why we make the towels dirty . I explain him that it was his rule ( written signboard, see the picture ), so we did it as ruled. But He refuse his own rule and make us guilty by placing the towel on the floor. Very funny and rude owner. You should see how mad he was, he just lost his mind , it was really difficult to discuss the people with lost mind. at the end of the arguing, He never ever accept his mistake , He was just mad. He force us the leave his house at the middle of the night. We simple pack the things and gone. That was the horrible experience that I every had after almost 20 years active traveling around the world. Thanks to owner fort his, He make Esfahan and iran so special. Breakfast was really simple and portion might be enough for 12 years kids. if you ask them more I am sure they would try to charge you extra. house is beautiful. courtyard is very nice. right after breakfast we just want to sit at the courtyard and drink another tea. when we ask the coworker for a tea. He was so panicked and run the owner to ask his permission to bring the tea first, and after owner permission he was allowed to bring us tea. That was a very sad moment, I just felt that coworkers are working at the middle age era. But both coworker lady and young guy were very kind. as I told before at this place you are not a guest, just a visitor, even if you scratch a self in the room they ask you to pay ( there is a written sign board in the room ) , you should not touch anywhere in the dining room, and most important the owner is the boss, whatever He says you should be quite and obey his rules.   My stay at Kianpour Boutique Hotel was absolutely delightful! The hotel exudes charm and elegance with its tastefully traditional decorated rooms and cozy atmosphere. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The location is little bit inside and narrow streets but worth the stay and close to attractions and restaurants, yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle, offering a peaceful retreat.

  Amazing stay during a 3-day tour of Isfahan. The staff was amazing, serving a great breakfast in the most beautiful room every morning. We stayed in room 10 which was up on the balcony level (overlooking the garden). I would absolutely recommend staying here. Just be careful if you're traveling in anything larger than a car. The alley entrance is very small.

  I had one of my best stays in Isfahan in this place. In the mornings you would wake up to the sound of singing birds and a beautiful garden with water fountain in the morning . This place was renovated old place turned into a very beautiful hotel. This place also has an intriguing traditional room for serving breakfast. I highly recommend it.
