Overall Iran experience was good though Hotel reception staff was kinda rude with us. Passport had to be handed over to the hotel while check-in to our rooms. Advance payment have to be made based on number of days we are gonna stay. For vegetarians, we can only get Vegetable pizza or veg Pasta and nothing else. Apart from that you can also enjoy the Roof top cafe with heaters installed to beat the cold winds during winter. You can also watch snowy mountains if visiting during the winter. People doesn't speak English and preferably Farsi (Persian} languages are spoken all over Iran. Very good and humble localities with very high hospitality provided by my customers during this visit.

It is very well organized and nice people who have multiple languages, which is so helpful . The only problem is exchanging currency to tomans , they take so much lower then the market , also the rooms are expensive, around 70$

Horrible experience. I got scammed here. I checked the room service fees on the day of checking out to confirm that the amount was correct. However at the evening when leaving the amount was way different, 200usd more than the correct amount without any explanation where this amount came from. I had no options but to pay as they were not letting me leave and I had to run to the aiport. Afterwords when trying to reach out the management to have some answers into these actions, no response. They scam foreigners and people that do not know the language. Absolutely horrible. They also treat the cleaning ladies badly, saw it with my own eyes. To be honest I actually received the kindnest, most genuine customer service from the cleaning ladies. Can not recommend. Please do not support hotels that treat foreigners differently and practise dishonesty. Update: tried to contact them for months without any response into any of my e-mails or this post. What kind of management does something like this? The worst hotel I have even been in my whole life. It might look nice but inside it is rotten. Avoid as far as possible.

I have lived four months in this hotel and can speak with some authority here. There is no doubt that the staff is friendly and is trying to assist you wherever they can. But the utility systems in this place are rotten to the core. I had to change my room five times due to some defects before I settled into the last one. There, I was treated to free smoking whenever people where smoking on the isles. The A/C system in the bedroom was designed so idiotically that it draws the air from the isles. Interestingly, the Simorgh has a no-smoking policy but the management doesn't have the balls to enforce this. If you take a shower, be quick. Every minute or so, the water is reduced to a trickle, before the booster pump kicks in again. Sorry to say, but I would not go there again.
