::The hotel was opened a year and half ago but the rooms and bathrooms seemed very mundane. Overall it's a nice place to stay but I would not rate it 5 star. The restaurant had very good breakfast and the dinner menu was good also.

::The Sorkeyi Hotel, a beautifully restored historical house, is a wonderful place to stay in Tabriz. The interior decor is stunning and reflects the rich history of the region. However, there were a few minor issues. Some items of the breakfast seemed to be reheated daily, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the staff was kinda strict about enforcing the hijab rule, made me took picture only with scarf. This felt a bit outdated and out of touch with the more relaxed attitudes of many other hotels in Iran. Overall though, our stay at The Sorkheyi Hotel was enjoyable, and we appreciated the opportunity to experience a piece of Tabriz's history.
