I was lucky enough to stay with Adel and his housemates at his homestay in Tehran for three nights, and loved every minute of it. I met Adel during a previous trip to Iran in 2015 when he was working at the Hostel i stayed at, and we have stayed in contact ever since. On my return trip I was greeted with a massive smile when he picked a friend and I up from the airport, it was late at night but he just seemed so happy to see us and we talked and laughed the whole way to his house. We were offered a large and comfortable room on arrival, but stayed up late chatting with Adel and two room mates. Adel cooked us delicious traditional breakfasts, introduced us to his friends, and gave us amazing suggestions of places to visit (he even hand-drew detailed maps for us to follow!). On our last night, he took us to the local market to buy ingredients for dinner, before teaching us how to make two delicious Persian meals.
For a country filled with the most friendliest people in the world, Adel is definitely the most welcoming and most accommodating i met.
I will visit Adel again when i return to Iran, and hope that one day i can return the favour and show him around Australia.
Thanks again mate
Its an apartment owned by 3 guys, they are very warm and welcoming, you'll love their hospitality. The room they're offering is clean, as well as its blankets and beds. They'll make a great breakfast in the morning and they even made us a very delicious Iranian food for dinner for a fair price. It has Iranian toilet but its very hygienic. You wont regret it!
