  I had a 4-night stay at Arg Hotel and it was absolutely amazing! All the receptionists were so welcoming, always had a smile on their face, and solved my problems immediately. All of them spoke very good English, so there was absolutely no problem with communication. The location is very good, close to the bazaar and the castle, and everything was basically within 30 minute walking distance. During the night it could seem a bit scary since the neighborhood is pretty dark and quiet, but that’s not a big issue. The room is not super spacious but definitely enough for solo travelers. The only downside was that there isn’t a power socket in the bathroom, so if you want to use your own hairdryer, you’ll have to do it in the room. Even if I chose to not be disturbed during housekeeping hours, the cleaners kindly asked me if I wanted any refills for shower gels, toilet paper, towels and such, and put everything nicely in a bag for me, with 2 bottles of water… that was amazing! The hotel also has a beautiful rooftop cafe, where you can enjoy fast food, coffee, and tea. They even serve shisha until 10 pm, but unfortunately I was there too late to try it. If you don’t have a local debit card, you can also pay by cash right away, or ask the waiter to put the bill on your room. My only complaint would be for the internet. Most of time it worked pretty well, but still got disconnected several times within an hour. During my last night there, I couldn’t log in to the internet access at all, and the receptionist couldn’t solve it for me either. All in all, an amazing experience! For a single room, it is only 1000k toman- I stayed in another hotel previously for double the price, and everything was so much worse than Arg Hotel. Very happy with my choice in Shiraz!

  The hotel is very good. It has polite staff and they are very helpful in solving problems. The rooms are small but clean and have a tea maker, mini bar, refrigerator and complete sanitary items. The breakfast is excellent, varied and delicious. The food in the restaurant is very good at noon, but relatively expensive but the dinner is not good. There is a beautiful coffee shop on the roof of the hotel, which has a very beautiful atmosphere, but it is expensive

  7 night stay in Second Floor (Keep in mind rooms at second floor are renovated, other floor are dated), value for money, very decent breakfast. Room are big enough, very clean, big shower, amenities are perfect, tea and water bottle complimentary every day. 15 minutes walk to major sightseeing. The only drawback was a maintenance issue at shower which solved asap, AND girls at reception can't be more careless

  The hotel is located in the historical heart of the city. The staff are extremely kind and made us feel at home. When we visited Shiraz during the holidays, the boutique hotels were fully booked, but I'm thrilled that we chose this one as an alternative.

  I stayed I Arg Hotel for three nights and the experience was very nice. The staff are very friendly and polite and the rooms are of decent size. Most of the rooms have twin beds. The amenities are fine, and the shower was the best since the pressure of the water was very fine for a pleasant shower in winter. The breakfast was just fine for a hotel of this size and standard. Having said the above, there are certain things that need to improve. The room cleaning service is available only till 12:00 pm, so if you want the room to be cleaned in the afternoon, you need to wait till the next morning. I also had an issue with the safety deposit box, which was not resolved on the spot at the night I arrived, and I had to wait till the next morning, raise it again, and have it resolved.
